Rising Tide Freedom Exchange – our first ever grantee summit

The Rising Tide Freedom Exchange welcomed nearly 40 of our grantees from over ten countries around the world for a three-day summit on Lake Constance at the beautiful Schloss Marbach. The purpose of our Grantee Summit was to build a community where organizational leaders come together to exchange great ideas and spark collaboration.

The event was largely grantee-driven – with ample time for networking and co-creation. Several grantees pitched organizational challenges to the brain-trust in our “Solution Kitchen” sessions – finding new solutions and learning from others’ experiences. Grantees shared their own inspirational stories or calls to action through short speeches. The last day together was spent co-creating collaborative approaches to advancing freedom and brainstorming ways to keep our new community alive and connected moving forward.

Our grantees walked away from the summit with new innovative ideas and a network of potential partnerships. Attendees also gained a deeper understanding of Rising Tide core values and principles. We are confident that many synergies between our grantees were revealed that will allow us to scale the impact that our community has around the world.
