RTF & RTFCCR welcome new Board Members: Elena Leontjeva & Ing. Hubert Bertsch

We are delighted to announce new additions to our Boards of Directors. Elena Leontjeva joins Rising Tide Foundation Board of Directors; and Ing. Hubert Bertsch joins the Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research Board of Directors.

Elena Leontjeva co-founded the Lithuanian Free Market Institute (LFMI) in 1990 and acted as its President from 1993 until 2001. She is currently serving again as President and as chair of the Board of LFMI. Elena holds degrees in economics, mathematics, and programming, and more recently dedicates her time to writing fiction. She has directed research and policy advocacy at LFMI, whilst playing a key role in her country’s transition. Elena was named by magazine Veidas among the ten personalities who have changed Lithuania.

Ing. Hubert Bertsch is an Austrian entrepreneur and international businessman. He is the owner and CEO of Bertsch Holding GmbH founded in 1925 with several companies in Europe and the CIS. When Hubert took over the family business, he reorganized the companies allowing each division to focus on their core competencies and creating a strong solid foundation for expansion. He also enlarged the companies’ sphere of actives and continues to create relationswith multiple foreign countries and businesses.
