Faces of Prostate Cancer

Fourteen years ago I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer and started my battle with the disease. I am now part of a Facebook network for two hundred men in the same situation. I am a documentary film producer, so it was only natural for me to express myself through “Faces of Prostate Cancer”, a documentary film about six men from the network. It shows how we all struggle with the cancer diagnosis and its impact on our family, wife, children, career – our whole life. I already know from other patients that the film help them tackle their diagnosis. But I also hope that health care professionals will be inspired to improve treatment of the disease – and that researchers will develop better diagnosis and treatment methods for prostate cancer in the future.
