Introducing Rising Tide’s Eight New Partners Championing Agency and Flourishing
September 16, 2025
In recent months, the Rising Tide Foundation has been proud to welcome eight new exceptional partners into our grantee network. From supporting the families of political prisoners, pushing legislative reform in the United States, protecting the rights of street vendors in India, providing young talent with a university education in Guatemala, and more, these innovative projects are enhancing human agency and flourishing worldwide. We are thrilled to support their efforts and introduce you to their vital work.
Organization: Centre for Civil Society, India
Project: Jeevika 2.0
The Centre for Civil Society is scaling its Jeevika mobile app to support India’s vibrant street vendor community. Building on a successful pilot, the app empowers vendors by providing easily accessible information about their rights under the 2014 Street Vendors Act, access to legal guidance, and a geo-tagging feature to document their presence. This next phase will expand the app’s user base, add new features like multilingual support, and focus on policy outreach and long-term sustainability to ensure it can flourish independently for years to come.
Organization: Economic Fundamentals Initiative, United States of America
Project: Improving Economics Teaching in Georgia, Kosovo, and Ukraine
The Economic Fundamentals Initiative (EFI) is tackling the poor quality of economics teaching in former communist countries through its proven ‘train-the-trainer’ model. Building on a successful RTF-supported pilot, this project will expand pedagogical training and classical liberal resources to a total of 1,100 teachers, who are projected to reach 170,000 students. With high demand from educators, EFI will also bring the program to new countries, improve its curriculum, and empower local partners to become financially sustainable and continue the training independently.
Organization: Foundation for Government Accountability, United States of America
Project: Dismantling the U.S. Administrative State
The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) is taking on the excessive regulation and bloated bureaucracies of the U.S. administrative state. Capitalizing on the current political environment, FGA is focused on advancing the REINS Act—a commonsense reform that restores accountability by requiring elected officials to approve any new “major” regulation. Building on a track record of over 1,250 policy wins, FGA will partner with lawmakers in Congress and in several new states, equipping them with targeted research and educational briefings to pass this major reform.
Organization: Fundación Educación, Switzerland and Guatemala
Project: We Empower Talent at UFM
To address the stark disparity in educational opportunities in Latin America, Fundación Educación will provide twelve to sixteen scholarships for talented, underprivileged students to attend Guatemala’s renowned Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM). Building on a 30-year track record and two previous successful partnerships with Rising Tide, the project uses a unique “Compromiso de Honor” payback system where graduates repay their scholarships to fund future students. This creates a sustainable educational cycle that fosters a culture of paying it forward, mentorship, and responsible citizenship.
Organization: Institute of Economic Policy (IWP) - Switzerland
Project: Entrepreneurial Thinking and Action
To combat a widespread lack of entrepreneurial understanding among Swiss youth, the Institute of Economic Policy (IWP) is developing a comprehensive online course rooted in classical liberal principles. The course will feature twelve interactive lessons with mini-documentaries and interviews with successful entrepreneurs. Through a strategic partnership with Evulpo, Switzerland’s largest educational platform, the course has a direct and scalable channel to reach hundreds of thousands of students in Swiss classrooms, with an English version planned to maximize its impact.
Organization: Instituto Juan de Mariana, Spain
Project: International Forum on Economy, Climate, and Energy
Instituto Juan de Mariana is launching a high-profile international forum to champion economic freedom and technological advancement as the best solutions to climate and energy challenges. The project aims to fill a critical gap in European debates, which are often dominated by calls for heavy regulation. The initiative combines a major two-day conference featuring leading scientists and economists with a post-event action plan to drive tangible policy results through policy reports, media outreach, and strategic meetings with legislators in Spain and at the EU level.
Organization: Libertas Network, United States of America
Project: Rebuilding Praxis
The Libertas Network is providing a clear and positive alternative to the traditional university path by acquiring and revitalizing Praxis, a leading college-alternative apprenticeship organization. The project will rebuild the flagship job placement program with a refined curriculum, one-on-one mentorship, and a job guarantee for participants. Leveraging Libertas’s proven track record, the goal is to create a self-sustaining revenue model for Praxis by 2027, expanding educational choice for independently minded young people across the United States.
Organization: World Liberty Congress, Global
Project: Free Them
The World Liberty Congress’s Free Them initiative is addressing the urgent and often-overlooked needs of the families of political prisoners. Occupying a unique niche in the human rights space, the project works directly with these families, transforming them from isolated individuals into powerful catalysts for change. Building on a successful pilot, the initiative will provide direct support to 100 families, distribute a comprehensive post-liberation manual, and launch a train-the-trainer program to build a scalable and sustainable global support network for advocacy and resilience.
We are honored to partner with these eight organizations and look forward to the incredible work they will do over the coming years.
