Lanzarote Forum 2025

December 16, 2025

We are thrilled to have successfully co-hosted the flagship Lanzarote Forum with the Universidad de las Hespérides , bringing together a global network of leading thinkers and doers to accelerate innovative European projects rooted in classical liberal principles.

A phenomenal “Brain Trust” worked intensively to tackle the unique obstacles faced by six carefully selected projects. The energy and ingenuity in Gran Canaria were truly inspiring!

A massive congratulations to the project owners for their commitment to creating alternative, private-sector solutions. We are excited to see the next phase for these six projects:

  • Think and Do Welfare Partnership: Led by Steve Davies, Senior Education Fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs, and Andy Cox, Director of SIGNAL
  • The Alternative London Plan: Led by Ben Hopkinson, Head of Housing & Infrastructure at the Centre for Policy Studies.
  • Liberty Labs Europe: The Innovation Challenge for Evidence-Based Public Policy: Led by Felipe Munizaga, Research Director at Liberty International.
  • The Freedom Tech Embassy: Led by Lyudmyla Kozlovska, President of Open Dialogue Foundation.
  • Free Cities Conference: Led by Vera Kichanova, Senior Economist at the Free Cities Foundation.
  • Relying on the Arts to Spread Freedom: Led by Pierre Garello, Professor of Economics at the Aix-Marseille Université.

The purpose of accelerating these projects is to harness ingenuity, creativity, and individual freedom to improve civilization. We can’t wait to share updates as these models spread and demonstrate the power of private solutions.

As this co-creation forum concludes, we are already looking ahead: we are planning to do this again next year! To make it a success, we need the best and brightest projects. If you or someone in your network is implementing an initiative, hitting critical roadblocks, and could benefit from an exceptional brain trust to propel it forward, please reach out to us regarding potential participation in next year’s forum! This collaborative model is, in our estimation, the most effective way to develop solutions for today’s most intractable challenges.
