Y15 – Celebrating 15 Years of Rising Tide!

As we continue celebrating our Y15,  the 15th anniversary of the Rising Tide Foundation (RTF) and the Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research (RTFCCR), we are proud to present a Special Exhibition as part of our Patient Arts for Health Global Exhibition.

This milestone year is an opportunity to reflect on the power of art, research, and human connection — and to amplify patient voices at the heart of everything we do.

Beyond the Diagnosis is an online exhibition presented by the Rising Tide Foundation in collaboration with U.S.-based artist Em Monforte. Together, they share the deeply personal and complex stories of twelve individuals navigating life through cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Over the course of a year, Monforte closely accompanied each participant, capturing their experiences through a powerful combination of intimate portraiture, recorded interviews, and handwritten reflections. The result is a layered and unflinching portrayal of what it truly means to live with cancer — not only as a medical condition, but as a profoundly human journey marked by pain, resilience, hope, and transformation.

This online exhibition offers a preview of the full physical installation, which will be presented in Zürich, Switzerland, in May 2026. Beyond the Diagnosis invites viewers to look past the illness and into the rich, multidimensional lives of those who carry it.

We celebrate this milestone with deep gratitude — honoring the courage of all participants, the power of art, and the shared commitment that continues to drive Rising Tide forward.
