World Cancer Day 2024 – Empowering Patient Advocacy: Launch of WECAN’s Patient Experience Data Training Course

In a significant step towards empowering patients and patient advocates in cancer research and care, the Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research (RTFCCR) has supported the creation and implementation of the Patient Experience Data (PED) Training Course – Module 2, an initiative by WECAN. 

This online, interactive course is available free of charge and is designed to equip patient advocates with the necessary skills to assess patient needs in both a quantitative and qualitative manner. The course provides valuable insights that can make a real impact in research, health policy, and access.
