Rising Tide Spark Fund for Collaboration
September 6, 2024
Following the success of our first round of Spark Fund for Collaboration grants in 2022-2023, at the Grantee Summit in May 2024, Rising Tide Foundation launched its second Spark Fund for Collaboration. This is a designated fund for former or current RTF grantees to develop and test ideas for projects between at least two grantees. The first round of applications closed in mid-June, and 5 grants have been approved for funding.
At the Rising Tide Foundation, we’re delighted to have supported many exciting projects in the last few months that put classical liberal principles into practice and advance private sector solutions to societal problems. By working together, grantees can scale their impact, enhance freedom, and create value for the beneficiaries and participating organizations. Below, you will find a short overview of the recent projects we’ve funded through this program:
The primary goal of this project is to conduct a trial implementation of the Myne platform at Watered Gardens to explore its potential to collect data, support program operations, and gather insights.
The aim of this collaboration is to adapt UFM’s Luces tool (which is based on the Poverty Stoplight tool) to the needs of Fundación Educación, introduce it, and implement it as a tool for fostering agency and flourishing among the foundation’s scholarship holders and alumni.
Students at Avasara Academy will engage in GripTape’s self-directed Learning Challenges, developing critical leadership and problem-solving skills, building resilience, and experiencing the true meaning of agency and autonomy in their learning.
Together, the organizations will engage the business community to support the movement of effective charity through True Charity’s leadership workshops. Freedom and Virtue Institute will provide commonality training for those supporting businesses.
This project will see the Bill of Rights Institute and Ideas Matter advance the ideals of freedom by hosting an intercontinental debate between select U.K. and U.S. schools.
We welcome this new round of collaborations and look forward to future collaborations among our grantee community.
